Pastoral care

You do not have to carry it alone

A calm, confidential, and judgment-free space to be heard, explore what matters, and find a meaningful next step through change, grief, crisis, or uncertainty.

How I can help

Presence before answers

Pastoral care is not about fixing a person. It is about making room for the whole story, drawing on Jewish wisdom when helpful, and walking beside someone through what comes next.

Grief & loss

A listening presence before, during, and after loss, including support with Jewish mourning practices and remembrance.

Crisis & transition

Spiritual support during illness, family change, career transition, uncertainty, or a season that feels difficult to carry alone.

First responders & families

Culturally aware care for public-safety professionals and their families, informed by decades of lived public-service experience.

Jewish questions & reconnection

A judgment-free place to explore practice, identity, belonging, spiritual questions, and a return to Jewish community.

Care with clarity

A rabbinical relationship can complement—but does not replace—medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency services.

If there is an immediate danger or emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.

A thoughtful first step

Begin with a private conversation

You do not need to know exactly what to ask for. Share what is happening, and Rabbi Yehuda will respond personally.
